I will be on call 3 weeks before, and 2 weeks
after your estimated due date.
What does this mean…
When you are full-term you can go into labor at
anytime. This means I can be at your birth at
anytime day or night because birth is
unpredictable. I make the commitment to you
as follows.

• Abstain from alcohol - not even a glass of wine at dinner
• Be prepared to leave at anytime and any function (including birthday parties,
Christmas and special events)
• Have a full tank of gas and a car available at all times
• Have child care established and waiting for a call to put it in place
• Remain close and not leave the state
